Cutting the Scarffs.

Once all of the rebates were done I nnede to cut some scarff's to koine the planks together. I spent time ligning them up on the bench with  2" gap between the end of each plank, then out came the trusty plane again and i turned a mini stair case in to a ramp. It took a bit of time to get the hang of this but one I got started i go in to the flow of it. You can see the differant layers of the plywood. If the lines from the Layers seam to run straight accross the plank then you have cut a good Scarff.
