Spirit

Spirit was the first boat I ever built. I had always wanted to build a boat but never thought I would have the skills to do it. she is 14ft long and skin on frame design. it took me about 12 months to build her and she paddles like a dream.

Her basic design is skin on frame design. The build is broken down in to 2 sections. Building the Ceder frame and then sewing on the nylon skin.

I had so much fun building her that i built a triditional paddle to go with he. I like this paddle a lot. the standard paddle seemed to give me a sore sholde after about 10 minutes of hard paddling but this one does not.
